Business Development Manager – Property Funds

Sydney

This is not a cold-start BDM role.

You’ll step into an established, high-quality portfolio of wealth managers and financial advisers — many of whom have been allocating capital to direct property funds with this manager for 10+ years . Your job is to protect, deepen and grow those relationships, while bringing credibility, insight and consistency to every interaction.

If you genuinely understand unlisted real estate funds , adviser distribution, and how capital is raised in Australia — this role will feel like home.

The Opportunity

You’ll represent a leading, institutional-grade property funds platform with a diversified suite of direct property vehicles across key sectors. Working closely with senior distribution leadership, you’ll:

- Take ownership of a mature, recurring adviser book across NSW, QLD and ACT
- Be the trusted point of contact for advisers who actively allocate to property funds
- Support ongoing equity raises, new product launches and re-ups
- Provide advisers with clear, commercial market insight — not sales fluff
- Strengthen long-term partnerships built on trust, performance and access

This is a relationship-led role, not a transactional one.





What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing and growing relationships with wholesale financial advisers
- Supporting advisers through capital raising cycles and product education
- Delivering fund updates, market commentary and portfolio insights
- Attending and hosting adviser events, briefings and roadshows
- Working closely with internal investment, marketing, legal and compliance teams
- Maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline data

What We’re Looking For

You’ll likely come from property funds distribution, asset management, or adviser-facing roles , and bring:

- A genuine understanding of unlisted real estate / property funds
- Experience managing established adviser relationships
- Confidence engaging with sophisticated advisers and wealth managers
- Strong commercial judgement and communication skills
- RG146 compliance (or ability to obtain)
- A professional, long-term mindset — this is about partnerships, not quick wins
