We are looking for a Reg Nurse to provide care in the Noarlunga Donor Centre.

About the role

Step into a rewarding role that directly impacts life‑changing donations. Working with donors, you will bring your customer‑facing skills and passion to deliver an exceptional service while ensuring Australia’s supply of blood products.

- Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability to donate.
- Provide clinical oversight and guide team members during the blood collection process.
- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
- Set up and operate collection machines and equipment.
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
- Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance.
- Monitor donors post‑donation and assist them in rebooking for their next visit.

Working hours

Permanent part‑time opportunity: 56 hours per fortnight across a rotating roster from Monday to Saturday.



Shifts vary in length from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and are scheduled within the centre’s operating hours. Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays is mandatory.

Qualifications & requirements

- Occasionally lift between 9–22.7 kg.
- Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products.
- Hold a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and a current AHPRA registration.
- Flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
