About the role

Join one of Australia’s most iconic underground copper mines in a key Health & Injury Management Advisor role. Based at our CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW , you’ll support injured workers, drive best-practice injury management, and contribute to a strong health and safety culture on site.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Serve as the primary contact for injured workers, coordinating treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes.
- Maintain workers compensation records and injury data
- Support WHS compliance, risk reduction, and health monitoring
- Deliver training on injury prevention and wellness
- Occupational health intervention, screening and education.

About You

- Registered or Enrolled Nurse background
- Allied Health Professionals with experience early intervention and musculoskeletal injury will be considered.
- SIRA-accredited Return to Work Coordinator (or willing to obtain)
- Cert IV in WHS (desired)
- ICAM Lead Investigator (desired)
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation
- Experience in mining or heavy industry (preferred)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and data management skills

About Us

CSA Mine is one of Australia’s longest operating copper mines with a history stretching back almost 150 years. At 1.9 kilometres deep, CSA is the second deepest copper mine in Australia and the third highest copper grade in the world. Located near the NSW town of Cobar, CSA Mine employs around 550 people and produces approximately 40,000 tonnes of copper concentrate per year. The ore is mined and processed on site and then transported by rail 700km to the Port of Newcastle for export.
