The Role

We’re looking for a Finance & Collections Manager to take full ownership of our finance function and collections process. Working closely with our Operations Manager and leadership team, you’ll be the financial backbone of the business.

This role suits a self-starter with a founder’s mindset, someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and thrives in an evolving environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Finance

- Manage the company’s books
- Oversee accounts payable
- Execute payments and bank verifications
- Lead budgeting and FP&A;
- Client account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports
- Manage Payroll, GST Reporting & BAS Lodgements

Collections

- Own the collections process
- Work directly with clients to resolve issues
- Coordinate with credit/legal
- Track and report on KPIs and portfolio performance




- Improve policies, processes, and escalation frameworks
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and responsible lending requirements

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in finance, accounting, or collections, ideally in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Strong accounting fundamentals including reconciliations, cash flow, and reporting
- Experience managing a loan book, collections portfolio, or credit function
- Confident in engaging with clients with professionalism and empathy
- Proficiency in tools like Xero, QB, and LMS systems
- Founder’s mindset: proactive, accountable, and willing to roll up your sleeves
