We are seeking a reliable and passionate mechanic to support our fleet maintenance and uphold industry standards.
What We Offer
- Sign on bonus of $5,000 (T&C;'s apply)
- Annual earning potential $105,000 - $120,000+ including overtime and allowances
- $37.19 - $42.96 per hour depending on skills
- Tool allowance $20.61 weekly
- Attendance allowance $30.15 on rostered hours
- Annual leave 5 weeks, 15 days sick leave, long service entitlement after 7 years
- Annual leave loading 17.5% - 20%
- Other allowances as per industrial instrument
- Ongoing training & development (in-house heavy vehicle brake courses)

Role Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and assemble fleet vehicles, ensuring safety, quality, and Busways standards
- Maintain vehicles and assets per manufacturer guidelines
- Perform maintenance according to company procedures
- Attend breakdowns and carry out field mechanical repairs
- Communicate safety or maintenance issues effectively
- Adhere to WHS requirements while performing work duties
- Maintain clean workshop practices
- Report and repair accident damage as required
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks and other duties as directed
The Successful Applicant Will
- Hold MVTC trade qualification or equivalent
- Have experience in vehicle service and maintenance
- Understand and adhere to WHS regulations and company policies
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be experienced in a team environment with daily maintenance and repair schedules
- Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Be physically fit for the role
- Be willing to undergo pre‑employment medical and working with children checks
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence (state issued)
Additional Experience (Not Required)
- Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training provided)
