Senior Pavement Engineer

As a Senior Pavement Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in designing durable, cost‑effective pavement solutions while guiding teams across complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the design and review of flexible and rigid pavement systems
- Provide technical oversight on pavement materials, mix designs and concrete mix registers
- Drive high‑quality technical reporting, design documentation and drawing reviews
- Lead multidisciplinary collaboration on major infrastructure projects
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, supporting capability uplift
- Identify and manage risks across projects, applying safety in design principles
- Contribute to and review proposals,



including technical inputs and costings
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, quality systems and client requirements
- Influence project outcomes to deliver best‑for‑client, efficient and creative solutions

What You’ll Bring

- ~8+ years’ experience in pavement engineering
- Strong expertise in flexible and rigid pavement design and technical reporting
- Solid understanding of geotechnical inputs (desirable)
- Proven ability to lead technical deliverables across projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail with a strong quality and delivery focus

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to completion)
