We are seeking a highly motivated Educator to join our energetic early learning program for children aged 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and support the joy of learning another language as part of our immersive language program.
Responsibilities
- Promote the foundations of a lifelong love of learning and embed German language learning opportunities through an immersive and intentional language program within the daily curriculum of the Centre.
- Work alongside an extraordinary team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators.
- Engage with children aged 3-5 years to support discovery and language learning.
Qualifications
- ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care
- Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain
- Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
- Fluency in German and strong understanding of German culture
- Availability to work between 7.00am - 6.00pm; shifts on the ELC roster typically 7.20am to 6.10pm
- Understanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families
- Sound ICT skills
