About the Role

We are currently seeking casual masters less than 45m NC to join our operations in South‑East Queensland. Based out of Cleveland and Redland Bay, these positions require energy, motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility to meet operational demands. The master will be responsible for the daily efficient operation of the vessel, whilst always maintaining excellence in safety, leadership, customer service, and reliability. The primary function of the role is the safe and secure operation and navigation of the vessel and to ensure the health and safety of all passengers and crew on board.

In addition, the master must maintain compliance with all relevant laws, company policies and procedures, and establish, implement and verify the vessel’s Safety Management System. The successful applicant will have excellent leadership, vessel‑handling ability, knowledge and compliance of legislation and operating procedures, customer service and a safety‑focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience

- Master certificate for vessels less than 45m NC (Certificate of Competency)



– Essential
- MED 3 or higher – Essential
- Current Certificate of medical fitness for near‑coastal seafarers (AMSA form 1850) – Essential
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR – Essential
- Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) and CPR – Desirable
- Hold or be able to obtain a PEC for the Moreton Bay area – Highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
