As a Shift Leader at our Gympie restaurant, you play a critical role in how each shift runs — leading the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving performance on shift and supporting the team in a fast‑paced environment.
About The Role
- Lead shifts and support the team to deliver strong service and food quality.
- Coach, motivate and direct crew throughout the shift.
- Maintain high standards across food safety, cleanliness and operations.
- Ensure smooth shift execution, especially during peak periods.
- Communicate clearly and keep the team focused and on task.
- Work closely with senior management to drive performance and consistency.
About You
- Has experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Is confident taking charge and directing a team during busy periods.
- Leads from the front and is not afraid to get involved.
- Communicates clearly and holds team members accountable.
- Takes pride in high standards and consistent execution.
- Brings energy and focus to every shift.
This Role Requires
- Availability across evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work late nights.
- Flexibility to support peak trade periods.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- First Aid & CPR – these can be obtained on employment.
