Overview

A leading real estate company is seeking a Legal Director to be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-level strategic legal thought leadership to the business, and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders from diverse functions.
- Lead a team responsible for all legal matters related to land development projects, investments and partnerships.
- Draft and review legal documents, support project negotiations, and oversee full-cycle contract management.
- Ensure a high level of compliance and legal awareness across all departments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Law.
- 8+ years of experience in real estate development, with exposure to large-scale, high-complexity developments.
- Strategic leader with the ability to work effectively with senior-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asia.
- High competency in English, with full business proficiency.
- Based in Phnom Penh with relocation required.
