About the Opportunity

Our client is a trailblazer in satellite-enabled IoT connectivity, delivering secure, cost-effective, and low-maintenance solutions built for the unique challenges of the Internet of Things. With a proprietary direct-to-satellite approach, they’re transforming how devices connect in remote and hard-to-reach areas. As part of their ongoing growth, they are now looking for a Director, Network Operations to join their leadership team.

About the Role

As Director, Network Operations , you’ll be responsible for overseeing both internal and external network operations, ensuring the reliable and efficient performance of their IoT network services. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving operational strategy, scaling infrastructure, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Lead and support teams to consistently meet and exceed service expectations.
- Coordinate the integration of new features and system updates with minimal disruption.




- Streamline operations across various network technologies and standards.
- Contribute to and manage third-party roaming partnerships.
- Oversee network quality, cybersecurity protocols, and ICT practices.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, system uptime, capacity planning, and billing.
- Attract, lead, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performing and team-oriented environment.

What You'll Bring:-

- Experience managing telecommunications, IoT, satellite, or related network environments (DevOps, cloud, or big data).
- A strong track record in scaling network operations and handling the complexities of large systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant experience with network and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with large-scale enterprise or IoT network environments, ideally in telco or satellite sectors.
- A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of business operations, ICT, and cybersecurity.
- Proven success in building and managing distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confident with financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
- A self-driven leader with the energy and focus to help drive business expansion.
