We are a well-established Western Australian mining recruitment and mobile workforce agency seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for supporting our high-volume operations by ensuring payroll is processed accurately, compliantly, and on time. Working closely with our leadership and operational teams, you will play a key part in maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of our finance and payroll functions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for weekly end-to-end payroll, along with supporting invoicing, compliance and continuous process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

- Processing weekly end-to-end payroll
- Entering, validating and reconciling timesheets accurately and on schedule
- Interpreting and applying awards, allowances, overtime, penalties, site rates and travel requirements
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees, clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and approachable manner
- Preparing weekly invoicing, back charges and assisting with end-of-month processes
- Creating and maintaining pay and bill agreements, rate templates and compliance documentation




- Identifying opportunities for payroll system and process improvements

Role Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll and/or accounts role.
- Demonstrated experience processing payroll within the agency and labour hire industry, with a strong understanding of awards, penalty rates, allowances, overtime, bonuses, travel entitlements, and payroll compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
- Experience using Xero, Tanda, and Connecteams.
- Previous experience within the mining, resources, or construction industries will be highly regarded.
- Australian permanent working rights are essential.
