Carpentry Apprentice – New, 1st or 2nd Year | Commercial Cladding | IMMEDIATE START

NT Construction Group is looking for a reliable and motivated current, 1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our team for an immediate start.

No previous apprenticeship experience is required. We welcome applications from people looking to begin their carpentry apprenticeship, as well as current 1st and 2nd year apprentices.

We specialise in commercial cladding and architectural façades, working on schools, childcare centres, commercial buildings and premium residential developments across Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a specialised area of construction. You’ll work directly with an experienced team and learn a wide range of cladding and façade systems.

The role includes:

- Installing commercial cladding and façade systems

- Working with aluminium, metal and fibre-cement products

- Installing wall wrap, battens, substrates,



flashings and panels

- Measuring, cutting, setting out and fixing materials

- Reading plans and following installation requirements

- Working safely from scaffolding and access equipment

- Maintaining a clean and safe work area

- Attending trade school and completing apprenticeship requirements

What we need from you:

- Looking to commence or currently completing a carpentry apprenticeship

- Reliable, punctual and ready to work

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Construction Induction White Card

- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Comfortable working at heights

- Able to follow instructions and work within a small team

- Committed to completing a carpentry apprenticeship

Previous construction or cladding experience is helpful but not essential. Attitude, reliability and pride in your work are what matter most.

Our projects are located across metropolitan Melbourne. Applicants must have reliable transport and be prepared to travel directly to different sites.
