Your Role
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to deliver geotechnical investigations, technical assessments and engineering solutions across a variety of projects. Combining office-based analysis with fieldwork, you'll progressively build your technical capability while receiving structured mentoring and increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
You’ll:
- Assist with geotechnical site investigations, fieldwork, data collection and technical reporting
- Analyse field data and perform engineering calculations relating to bearing capacity, settlement and other geotechnical assessments
- Prepare technical reports, proposals and engineering documentation under the guidance of senior engineers
- Liaise with clients, contractors, laboratory staff and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Develop your technical expertise using industry software while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and company procedures
- Support project coordination and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple engineering projects
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- A strong understanding of engineering principles, the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards
- The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your workload, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A commitment to learning, continuous career development and delivering high-quality outcomes in a safe working environment
