Role : DC Control Systems Engineer
Employment type: Permanent / Contract
Location : Sydney / Melbourne

Job Description:
- Keeping critical Data-Centre facilities running
- Commission and validate BMS, EPMS, SCADA, HVAC controls and auxiliary facility automation systems.
- Execute point-to-point checks, loop checks, functional testing, SAT, site start-up and system acceptance activities.
- Verify field devices including sensors, actuators, control valves, VFD interfaces, meters, UPS interfaces,



generator interfaces, switchgear signals, CRAH/CRAC systems and chiller plant controls.
- Diagnose commissioning issues related to controls logic, field wiring, device addressing, network connectivity, protocol mapping, alarms and graphics.
- Troubleshoot communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, Ethernet/IP and Profinet where applicable.
- Cause-and-effect matrices, alarm lists, trend validation records, and control sequence verification reports.

**Must have: Core platform exp - Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi, B&R; or equivalent PLC platforms.
