I'm currently partnering with a highly respected national head contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for their growing Melbourne Interiors team.

The role is predominantly office-based, working closely with Project Managers and Commercial Leaders to drive the commercial success of multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the full subcontract procurement and contract administration process.
- Negotiating subcontract agreements and mitigating contractual risk.
- Administering progress claims, variations, RFIs and payment schedules.
- Supporting project financial performance through forecasting, reporting and cost control.
- Building robust relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Mentoring junior team members while promoting best practice across safety, quality and project delivery.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager with a commercial head contractor.
- Strong commercial acumen and a thorough understanding of subcontract management and contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A construction-related qualification (or equivalent industry experience).
