Civmec's Gladstone Maintenance division delivers specialised maintenance and shutdown services to refinery and heavy industrial clients in Queensland, partnering with operational teams to keeps critical assets running safely and efficiently.

Scaffolder's will erect, install and position scaffolding across refinery maintenance shutdowns and project works, applying versatile techniques and conducting thorough risk assessments to support safe, efficient delivery on site.

The Role

- Erect, install and position various sections of scaffolding
- Support maintenance shutdowns and project works
- Conduct risk assessments prior to commencing tasks
- Apply various types of scaffolding techniques as required
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
- Maintain knowledge of relevant scaffolding standards
- Coordinate scaffolding tasks with wider maintenance teams
- Provide general duties support where required
- Maintain secure work practices throughout all activities
- Identify and mitigate hazards during scaffolding operations

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- HRWL: SI or SA




- Blue Medipass (desirable)
- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights (highly rearded)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (desirable)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years shutdown / site experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
