Civmec's Gladstone Maintenance division delivers specialised maintenance and shutdown services to refinery and heavy industrial clients in Queensland, partnering with operational teams to keep critical assets running safely and efficiently.

Rigger's will perform complex rigging and mathematical assessments across maintenance shutdowns and project works, ensuring safe and exact movement of heavy equipment.

The Role

- Perform complex rigging tasks across shutdowns and project works
- Conduct detailed mathematical rigging assessments
- Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings
- Manoeuvre loads safely through confined spaces
- Dismantle rigging equipment following completion of tasks
- Maintain and store rigging equipment correctly
- Conduct risk assessments prior to commencing tasks
- Comply with industry safety standards at all times
- Provide rigging expertise across refinery project works
- Ensure safe lifting practices throughout all operations
- Coordinate with crews to complete rigging activities safely

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- HRWL: RI or RA
- Blue Medipass (desirable)




- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights (highly regarded)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years shutdown / site experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
