The Company

Our client is a nationally recognised engineering contractor specialising in ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, foundation piling, specialist civil construction and ground improvement projects.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with Ground Engineering and Slope Stabilisation experience to join their team.

The successful candidate will have Australian experience delivering projects involving:

- Ground Anchoring (Soil Nailing & Rock Bolting)
- Slope Stabilisation
- Ground Improvement
- Shotcrete
- Foundation Piling

This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) position operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Accommodation, meals and living-away-from-home expenses are fully provided.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the successful delivery of major ground engineering projects. You will lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors while coordinating closely with design, construction and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Tier 1 ground engineering projects.
- Manage and mentor engineering and site delivery teams across multiple work fronts.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete reporting, variations, EOTs and payment claims.
- Coordinate project programs to ensure delivery meets time, cost, quality and safety objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve design and constructability challenges.
- Review designs and coordinate with client teams to ensure compliance and project readiness.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion a positive safety culture and uphold the highest health and safety standards.
- Deliver clear and effective communication across all levels of the project team.

What's On Offer?

- Salary package of $185,000 - $220,000 + Superannuation (dependent on Australian experience) + Company Vehicle, fuel card and tolls.
- Accommodation paid for and provided + $100 per night Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA). The LAFHA roughly works out to another $22k - $23k per year earnings if your work the full year on this roster.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years' Australian experience delivering Ground Anchoring, Slope Stabilisation, Ground Improvement, Shotcrete and Foundation Piling projects.
- Strong leadership and project delivery capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within demanding project environments and deliver to strict deadlines.
- Willingness to work on a 14 days on / 7 days off regional project roster.
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship with unrestricted working rights.
