Civmec's Gladstone Maintenance division delivers specialised maintenance and shutdown services to refinery and heavy industrial clients in Queensland, partnering with operational teams to keep critical assets running safely and efficiently.

Refractory Tradesperson's will support the shutdown, removal and replacement of refractory lining using a variety of specialised techniques.

The Role

- Contribute to a protected working environment at all times
- Ensure the highest safety standards across the shutdown
- Carry out refractory installation
- Perform demolition and removal of refractory lining
- Install replacement lining after demolition works
- Apply a variety of bricklaying techniques
- Conduct gunning techniques for refractory application
- Support the shutdown team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain quality standards throughout installation
- Provide skilled trade support during shutdown scope

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- Blue Medipass (desirable)
- Construction White Card




- Work Safely at Heights (desirable)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (desirable)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years shutdown / site experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
