About the role
Northside Audiology is seeking a clinical care co-ordinator to join our audiology clinic in Chatswood, NSW. This is a part-time or full time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences and supporting the smooth operation of our clinical services. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive warm, professional and efficient service throughout their visit. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of care and customer satisfaction that define Northside Audiology.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting clients upon arrival and managing the reception desk in a welcoming and professional manner
- Scheduling and confirming client appointments, ensuring efficient clinic flow and minimal wait times
- Processing client registrations, updating personal and medical information, and maintaining accurate records
- Handling client enquiries regarding services, products and appointment availability with knowledge and courtesy
- Managing clinic administration tasks including filing, data entry, telephone and email correspondence
- Processing payments and managing financial transactions with accuracy and discretion
- Supporting audiologists and clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms and assisting with client care as required
- Maintaining confidentiality and complying with privacy legislation and clinic policies
- Contributing to a positive clinic environment and supporting team collaboration
What we're looking for
- 2 years previous experience in medical administration, client services or healthcare settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
- Proficiency with computer systems, scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling records, data entry and financial transactions
- Understanding of medical confidentiality and privacy requirements
- A patient, empathetic approach to client care and support
- Reliability and flexibility to accommodate part time working arrangements
- Desirable: Knowledge of audiology or hearing healthcare services
