About the role

ComfortStyle Furniture & Bedding is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team at our Cockburn Central store.

This is a casual position offering flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive retail setting. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, providing product advice and assisting customers to find the right furniture and bedding solutions for their needs.

As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you will help create a positive and welcoming shopping experience while contributing to the overall success of the store through strong customer engagement, teamwork and sales performance.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers and creating a welcoming showroom experience.

- Providing expert advice on furniture and bedding products to help customers find the right solution for their needs.

- Demonstrating product features, benefits and care requirements to support informed purchasing decisions.

- Achieving individual and team sales targets through exceptional customer service.

- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently through the point-of-sale system.

- Handling customer enquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

- Maintaining high showroom presentation standards, including merchandising, ticketing and display maintenance.

- Assisting with the receipt, unpacking and placement of stock as required.

- Supporting promotional campaigns, catalogue events and other store initiatives.

- Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.





- Assisting with general store duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the showroom

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a retail, sales or customer service environment

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with a diverse range of customers

- A positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service

- Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Ability to confidently use point-of-sale systems, technology and basic computer applications

- Flexibility, reliability and availability to work casual hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

- A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge across our furniture and bedding ranges

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment

- Physical capability to assist with moving and handling furniture and merchandise safely when required
