About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT and Solutions Executive to join our Sydney team on a part time basis (Monday to Thursday). This is an exciting, highly varied opportunity perfect for a Computer Science or IT graduate ready to kickstart their career, or someone in the very early stages of their IT journey looking for their next step. You will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations across the office, ensuring smooth support, robust system security, and reliable infrastructure. Working closely with our Head of Technology, you will bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset to keep our systems running seamlessly and drive process improvements.

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

- Manage hardware and software provisioning for employee onboarding and offboarding, keeping an accurate IT asset register.

- Own day-to-day office IT support and triage requests, providing responsive Tier 1 support to resolve ad-hoc issues.

- Maintain server room infrastructure, administer SaaS vendors, and implement robust IT security policies.

- Deliver seamless AV maintenance and setup for monthly All Hands events and office meeting rooms.

- Ensure reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity and performance across all office zones.

- Collaborate with the developer and product teams on coding tasks focusing on Google Cloud Platform, CloudFlare, and GitHub automations.





- Explore AI-driven initiatives and automations using tools like Claude Code to streamline internal workflows.

- Identify and execute quarterly technology improvements to optimise internal processes and office tools.

Now, a bit about you

- Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (open to graduates ready to start their career or those in the very early stages of their IT career).

- Customer service focus with excellent, empathetic communication skills.

- Technical knowledge of common office hardware, operating systems, and software.

- Proactive, initiative-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Tech-curious mindset with interest or exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, CloudFlare), automations, or AI tools.

- Ability to work effectively in a standalone IT capacity while collaborating closely with wider dev and product teams.

- Strong alignment with Mamamia’s mission to empower, inspire, and entertain women and girls.
