The exciting opportunity

- Permanent part time role working 8:30am – 5pm on Saturday & Sunday
- Based at our 95-bed Fairfield aged care home
- Instruct, teach and guide Kitchen Hands
- Prepare and cook food in line with cyclic menus, standard recipes, food texture modification and portion sizes
- Ensure that resident's individual menu choices are met, including any special dietary requirements
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage

The recipe for success

- Successful track record as a Cook within residential aged care
- Experience preparing textured modified foods including minced and moist
- Organised and able to lead a team of Kitchen Hands in a fast-paced kitchen
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not offered)
