Quality Assurance & Safety Advisor Ravenhall | Immediate Start | Fixed-Term Project Role | Competitive Hourly Rate

ProQuest Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Safety Advisor to join a major distribution centre in Ravenhall undergoing retrofit works. This role is responsible for ensuring site safety, monitoring contractor compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of the project while maintaining a safe working environment.

Certificate IV or higher in Work Health & Safety (WHS) is a mandatory requirement

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong understanding of workplace safety, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to engage with contractors, site management, and operational staff.

Available Shifts
Day Shift

- Immediate Start through to 15 September
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 4:00pm

Afternoon Shift

- Immediate Start through to 18 September
- Tuesday to Friday
- 2:30pm – 11:30pm

Key Responsibilities Safety & Permit Control
- Monitor and verify Permit to Work (PTW) documentation before works commence
- Ensure permits, sign-offs and approvals remain current and compliant
- Conduct or verify daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
- Maintain attendance records and safety documentation
- Inspect site controls including exclusion zones, barriers, warning signage and pedestrian walkways

Auditing & Compliance
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk spot checks
- Ensure works are being completed in accordance with approved Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Complete site audits and compliance reporting
- Record observations,



capture photos and maintain detailed daily shift reports

Incident Support
- Assist with investigations into incidents, hazards and near misses
- Escalate safety concerns to site management
- Support corrective actions and continuous safety improvements

Safety Systems You will utilise SiteDocs for:

- Permit tracking
- Pre-starts and toolbox talks
- Site audits
- Safety inspections
- Hazard and near miss reporting
- Daily safety records and compliance documentation

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate IV or higher in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)
- Current White Card (mandatory)
- Minimum 12 months' experience in construction, warehousing, logistics or a similar operational environment
- Strong understanding of Permit to Work systems and SWMS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English as your first language
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital safety management systems such as SiteDocs
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
- A proactive approach to workplace safety with the confidence to engage with contractors and operational teams
- have or willing to obtain a police check
