- This is a remote Level 3 Emergency Department which usually sees between 60-75 presentations a day.
- ED Rostering: Day shift: Incharg A 0800-1800, 2IC B 0800-1800, Evening Incharge A 1400-0000, 2IC B 1400-0000 / 1200-2200, Night: Incharg A 2145-0815, RMO 2000-0600
- Other than for the night RMO shift, the locum shifts all require the ability for confident independent practice and management of most cases.

Around 20% of presentations are paediatric cases.

The Emergency Department is a designated Mental Health Facility and receives scheduled patients from the community.
