Working as part of a cooperative multidisciplinary team, the Injury Management Advisor (IMA) provides clinical guidance and support to Case Managers, helping to deliver evidence-based injury management and sustainable return to work outcomes.

Drawing on your allied health expertise, you will partner with injured workers, treating health practitioners, employers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective recovery strategies.

You will also play a key role in coaching Case Managers, promoting best practice and ensuring a person-centred approach to injury management.

About You

You are an experienced allied health professional with a strong understanding of injury recovery, rehabilitation and return to work principles.

You are confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders and enjoy mentoring others to achieve positive outcomes.

You will bring:

- A qualification in an allied health or health-related discipline (such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy,



Exercise Physiology, Nursing or a similar field)

- Experience developing and implementing injury management and return to work plans

- The ability to assess clinical information and collaborate with treating practitioners to achieve the best recovery outcomes

- Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to support and develop Case Managers

- Experience facilitating case conferences, claims reviews and stakeholder discussions

- Sound knowledge of medical terminology, treatment pathways and rehabilitation principles

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- A genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey

Desirable

- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or Workers Compensation

- Knowledge of injury management legislation and return to work frameworks

- Project improvement or quality assurance experience
