About the role

As a Kitchen Hand at The Meat & Wine Co, you will play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes. Your primary responsibilities will include washing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout every service.

Working alongside our chefs and kitchen team in a fast-paced, premium dining environment, you'll help ensure service runs efficiently by supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is preferred but not essential
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic




- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Willingness to assist across all areas of the kitchen as required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards
- Understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety practices
