About the Role
This diverse role combines community-based physiotherapy with Residential Aged Care services, providing variety and the opportunity to develop a broad range of clinical skills.
Community Physiotherapy
You will:
- Complete comprehensive home-based assessments.
- Develop goal-focused treatment plans tailored to each client.
- Prescribe equipment and mobility aids.
- Deliver rehabilitation and exercise therapy.
- Support falls prevention and promote protected independence.
- Manage your own caseload while receiving ongoing team support.
Residential Aged Care
Working alongside facility staff and our multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Assess new residents and develop therapy plans.
- Complete individual and group Wellness & Reablement programs.
- Provide manual handling assessments and recommendations.
- Monitor falls and implement strategies to reduce future risk.
- Review, prescribe and monitor mobility aids and equipment.
- Deliver one-on-one and group rehabilitation sessions that improve quality of life.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional client-centred care and enjoys working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
You'll have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping older Australians achieve their goals.
