Task & Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef in daily food preparation.
- Ensure high-quality food production, preparation and presentation.
- Supervise cooking procedures.
- Ensure that sanitation, health and safety standards are maintained in work areas.

Qualification & Experience

- A minimum of one year experience in similar role.
- Robust communication and organization skills.
- Formal culinary training and apprenticeship certification.
- Knowledge for menu creation.




- Capable of upholding cost and quality benchmarks.
- Capable of performing well under pressure.
- Robust work ethic and optimistic ‘can do’ mindset.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and reporting abilities.

Skills and experience

- Hold a trade certificate in commercial cookery.
- At least two years or more work experiences in a commercial kitchen
- Experienced working in a commercial kitchen - not essential but ideal.
- Strong work ethic, clean, organised and meticulous
- Ability to accept personal accountability and provide clear leadership and communication to team members.
