Electrik Avenue is looking for an experienced Licensed Electrician to join our Electrical Projects team.
This is a full-time role suited to an electrician with solid commercial installation experience who takes pride in their work, communicates well and enjoys being part of an organised, professional team.
You will work across a variety of commercial, industrial and selected residential projects throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

The Work
Your projects may include:
- Commercial and industrial fit-outs
- Electrical installations and upgrades
- Switchboard replacements and upgrades
- Lighting installations and upgrades
- General power installations
- Data and communications
- Testing and commissioning
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Renovations and selected residential projects
- Supervising and mentoring apprentices when required
Most work is based throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland, with occasional regional work depending on project requirements.
About You
To be considered, you will need:
- Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
- At least two years of post-trade experience
- Commercial electrical installation experience
- Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
- Experience with testing and commissioning
- Current CPR and LVR
- Construction White Card
- Manual driver licence
- Your own standard hand tools
- A professional attitude and strong workmanship standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The following qualifications are beneficial but not essential:
- Working at Heights
- EWP licence
- High Risk Work Licence
- Open Cabling Registration and endorsements
- First Aid
- Additional electrical licences, tickets or qualifications
