The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is a member-based organisation that strives to set, maintain and promote high quality professional standards for rural and remote medicine. This will help to ensure that rural and remote communities have access to safe and accessible health care.

The Selection Team undertakes vital screening, eligibility and suitability assessments for doctors seeking to join the College Fellowship program. As a Selection Officer within a broader team, you will work across the full scope of the application process. This includes contributing to a high-performing team, supporting colleagues to deliver member and community objectives, and role-modelling behaviours that underpin a high-performance culture.

In a heavy customer service and administrative role, your responsibilities would include:

- Track and support applicant progression through selection and application processes
- Assist in the updating and collating of business and project documentation
- Ensure high quality data entry and review
- Manage enquiries to ensure member and non-member needs are met
- Coordinate interviews, committee meetings, presentations and information sessions

There are 3 roles currently available.



Two are full-time contract roles for an initial period of 2 years with the possibility of extension. The third is a full-time maternity leave contract through to 31 January 2027. These roles are based in the Brisbane Head Office, and are an integral part of a busy and agile team. The roles would suit candidates with experience in admissions offices, but this is not essential.
