FIFO Carpenter (Roster 20 Days On / 8 Days Off)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and reliable FIFO Carpenters to join our growing team working across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role operates on a 20 days on / 8 days off roster and offers long-term opportunities for skilled tradespeople who are committed to delivering quality workmanship while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Successful candidates will have experience working in fast-paced construction environments and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform all aspects of commercial and industrial carpentry.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Install framing, cladding, ceilings, doors, windows, and finishing carpentry.
- Carry out fit-out and structural carpentry works to project specifications.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Identify and report hazards and contribute to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in accordance with company procedures.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
- Current White Card.
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.




- Ability to pass random and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Proven experience in commercial, industrial, civil, or mining construction.
- Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Ability to work a 20 days on / 8 days off FIFO roster in remote locations.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Desirable Qualifications

- Working at Heights.
- Confined Space.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Forklift Licence.
- Telehandler or other relevant plant tickets.
- Previous mine site experience and site-specific inductions.

Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
