We are seeking a passionate, experienced and reliable Morning Lead Educatorto join our growing team at My Stars Essendon.

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting a team and creating a positive start to the day for children, families and educators.

About the role:

- Early morning start required (exact hours to be discussed during interview)
- Support the opening of the service and ensure a smooth morning transition for children and families
- Provide guidance and support to educators throughout the morning
- Act as a lead educator within the room, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- Digital planning, programming and implementing engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Build strong relationships with children, families and team members
- Support daily routines, supervision and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and wider team

About you:

- Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
- Experience as a Room Leader,



Lead Educator or Senior Educator preferred
- Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS and early childhood compliance requirements
- Confident supporting and mentoring educators
- Passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning workplace
- Reliable, organised and able to take initiative
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Essential requirements:

- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Child Protection and Safety training
- All other required early childhood compliance certificates
