About the job
We are currently seeking to fill the role of Head of Field Operations for ROSEN Australia. The Head of Field Operations is responsible for supporting the highest level of performance in pipeline inspections and other relevant services by ensuring the right resources are available, appropriately skilled, and effectively utilised. This role also focuses on continuously developing resources, improving processes, and ensuring the effective and efficient execution of business operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective provision of the right resources to support efficient process execution.
- Support operational execution by supervising the correct application of defined procedures and actively contributing to process optimisation.
- Develop assigned employees in their professional careers.
- Ensure infrastructure and equipment are well maintained and optimised.
- Ensure all relevant knowledge is kept up to date in the appropriate documentation and systems.
- Measure departmental performance using resourcing performance indicators in line with Group definitions.
- Safeguard compliance with company policies and applicable work procedures.
- Drive general business standards and procedures, such as 5S, and support business-specific standards and procedures.
- Support assigned employees in relation to quality, health,
and safety requirements.
- Develop an employee-oriented culture that emphasises market orientation, quality, continuous improvement, and key employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct and local regulations.
- Effectively and efficiently achieve specified targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technical understanding of field-related operational work and processes within the pipeline inspection and diagnostics industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to achieve results that drive profitability while enhancing the working environment.
- Solid entrepreneurial thinking.
- Sound technical and commercial understanding relevant to the department.
- Good knowledge of the business process landscape, with an emphasis on core processes and department-specific standards.
- Strong methodological, interpersonal, and social skills.
- Ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
