The business is seeking to employ an Engineer to evaluate, develop and support a diverse portfolio of medical and rehabilitation devices throughout their lifecycle, conduct technical assessments, testing, set quality standards and design improvements.
The position reports to the National Engineering Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, safety, reliability and user outcomes.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- A degree qualification in Engineering is an essential requirement.
- Ability to lead investigations into major product failures by conducting root cause analysis using engineering principles and analytical methodologies to improve product quality outcomes.
- Ability to lead new product development and improvement projects, including prototype design, user parameter evaluation, in-house and external product testing and performance validation activities.
- Demonstrated experience in quality verification and validation assessments to ensure compliance with specified engineering, safety, performance and regulatory standards prior to market release.
