JP Recruitment is currently seeking a Production Worker / Machine Operator for a nightshift role in a busy manufacturing facility based in Neerabup. This is a permanent opportunity for a reliable person who can work in a small team and is looking for long-term career and job security.
The Role
This is a role that requires a physically fit person with machine operating experience who can be trained to operate a large machine that recycles materials.
You will be on your feet for the duration of your shift, performing manual handling tasks as required, operating a Forklift, a chainsaw occasionally and operating the machinery.
The Roster
The production division runs 24/7. This role works permanent nightshift from Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) starting at midnight and finishing at 8am.
Requirements
- Technical Aptitude:
You need a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn how to operate and troubleshoot the machine
- Physical Fitness: You must be comfortable with manual handling and being active all shift.
- Attention to Detail: You will be responsible for quality control and hitting output targets.
- Forklift License: Essential, with solid experience preferred
- Reliability: You must have a solid work ethic and reliable transport.
