Permanent Part time | 22.8 hours per week | Flexible Days

We are looking for a motivated and organised Properties Officer to support the management of Council's property portfolio. You will play an important role in administering Council leases, licences, landowner consents, property agreements, and land transactions. You will work closely with tenants, landowners, community members, and Council staff to ensure property matters are managed efficiently and in line with legislative and Council requirements.

About the role

In this role, you will:

- Prepare and administer lease and licence agreements for Council facilities.
- Act as the main point of contact for Council tenants and property-related enquiries.
- Maintain property records, registers, databases, and documentation.
- Coordinate rent reviews and ensure lease payments are managed accurately.
- Administer Council's Landowner Consent process.
- Assist with property acquisitions, disposals, and other land transactions.
- Provide administrative support for Council's Tower Hill Development.
- Support budget preparation and general administration within the Procurement and Properties Unit.
- Manage after-hours alarm codes and security access arrangements.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary Qualifications in property, real estate, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in property administration, property management, or a similar role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A current Driver Licence.
