Karan Holdings Pty Ltd t/as Windsor Mechanical & Engineering is seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to join its established automotive workshop in the Hawkesbury region of New South Wales.

This is a full-time position suitable for a qualified motor mechanic with practical workshop experience in light vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing motor vehicles (light vehicles) of various makes and models. The role requires sound mechanical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to complete work safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· diagnosing mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment, mechanical testing and visual inspection;

· carrying out general mechanical repairs and maintenance on motor vehicles;

· performing major and minor vehicle servicing;

· repairing and maintaining braking systems, steering systems and suspension systems;

· working on engines,



gearboxes, differentials, clutches, cooling systems and EGR systems;

· conducting wheel balancing and wheel alignments;

· test driving vehicles after repairs to confirm mechanical soundness;

· ensuring all work is performed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

· Applicants must have Certificate III in Automotive , or an equivalent relevant automotive qualification;

· at least 12 months of relevant workshop experience as a light vehicle mechanic.

Desirable Skills

strong knowledge of contemporary diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
