We are currently seeking suitably experienced applicants for this full-time role based in ‘Lowlands’ Mt Gambier.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock handling:

- Induction processes
- Animal husbandry
- Stock movements
- Pen riding
- Yard work
- Loading and unloading of cattle / sheep
Handle working dogs in stock yards

Front end loader tractor operation:

- Silage/hay harvest
Filling hay rings with fodder

Farm maintenance:

- Maintaining electric fences
- Maintaining water system
Trough cleaning and maintenance

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

- You must be reliable,



physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
- You understand the importance of personal hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
- Certificate II or III agriculture (or equivalent assessed by relevant authority) would be preferred, but not essential
- You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
- You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
