What You'll Be Doing

As a Baker, you'll play an important role in producing a range of quality baked products while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and mixing doughs, batters and other bakery products according to established recipes.
- Measuring, weighing and preparing ingredients accurately.
- Operating commercial bakery equipment including mixers, ovens and production machinery.
- Monitoring fermentation, proofing and baking processes to achieve consistent product quality.
- Producing biscuits, cookies and other baked products to production schedules.
- Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality, appearance and consistency standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Following food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with stock rotation and reporting ingredient or production shortages.
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets.





What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Previous experience as a Baker or in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and production processes.
- Experience operating commercial bakery equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- A strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

- A relevant trade qualification in Baking or equivalent industry experience.
- Food Safety or HACCP knowledge will be highly regarded.
