About the Role

As the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead and manage the Special Education Program, providing high-quality advice and support to improve outcomes for students with disability.
Support school leaders and teachers to plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices.
Coordinate targeted teaching, case management and access to specialist services for students requiring additional support.
Build staff capability through professional learning, coaching and guidance.




Lead school-wide processes for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and contribute to whole-school improvement.
Build strong partnerships with families, community organisations and government agencies, and manage program resources to achieve school priorities.
