Pacific Stone is a leading manufacturer of stone tops in Canberra and the surrounding region.
We are looking for an experienced Stonemason to join our technical team in Beard.
The role involves the following stonemason and polishing duties:
- Examining plans/drawings, measuring and marking surfaces
- Polishing edges, such as ariss and pencil edges on stone surfaces
- Repairing cracked or chipped areas of stone
- Using machines and hand tools to carry out tasks in the fabrication environment
- Cutting and grinding stone to various shapes

We require:
- 3 years minimum experience in stone masonry / polishing
- High attention to detail is essential
- Willing to learn new techniques and develop skill sets
- Ability to work autonomously and part of team
- Adopting our standards and systems including different job scenarios and tasks weekly
- Drivers licence an advantage
- White card an advantage
The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience,
great technical skills and attention to detail. Must be able to meet deadlines and work within a team.
