As we continue to expand our digital capabilities and technology initiatives, we are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead and coordinate a range of technology and business improvement projects.

About the Role

As the ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering ICT projects that improve business operations, student services and learning technologies.

You will work closely with management, trainers, compliance staff, developers and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with organisational objectives.

Projects may include:

- Learning Management System (LMS) implementations and enhancements
- Student Management System (SMS) improvements
- Website and online application development
- AI and business automation initiatives
- Process improvement and digital transformation projects
- Cybersecurity and infrastructure improvements
- Integration between internal systems
- Cloud migration and business applications

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage and deliver ICT projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and risk registers.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Prepare project documentation including project charters, business cases and status reports.
- Monitor project scope, risks, budgets and schedules.
- Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to senior management.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).




- Manage project change requests.
- Ensure successful implementation and transition into business operations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and digital innovation.
- Support procurement and evaluation of ICT solutions where required.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant RTO standards and organisational policies.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience managing ICT projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid).
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana or similar project management tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Robust documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience working with software vendors and third-party providers.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Australian working rights.

Desirable

Experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded:

- Registered Training Organisation (RTO) sector
- Moodle or Canvas LMS
- Student Management Systems
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Azure or AWS Cloud
- Business Process Improvement
- Cybersecurity projects
- AI implementation and automation
- CRM systems
- Power BI
- ITIL or PRINCE2 certification
- PMP certification
- Business Analysis experience

Qualifications

One or more of the following:

- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner
- Agile certification

Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Pay: $45.00 – $65.00 per hour
