Details: The Population Health, Business Management Administrative Team is seeking a team leader to join the team and play a key role in supporting a range of regulatory and business functions that help protect the health and wellbeing of the community.

Working across multiple business areas, you will provide frontline customer service and administrative support, ensuring members of the public receive timely assistance with enquiries and applications for licences, permits, registrations and approvals. You will be responsible for processing applications, including controlled medicines applications, in accordance with relevant legislation and established procedures. The role also involves responding to enquiries received through reception, phone and email channels, helping customers navigate regulatory requirements and directing matters to the appropriate areas when required.

The successful applicant will process payments associated with licences, registrations and other regulatory activities in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1996 and Director-General Financial Instructions. You will maintain accurate and compliant records in line with the Territory Records Act 2002 and contribute to the smooth operation of the Health Protection Service through the provision of high-quality administrative support.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail. You will be expected to manage sensitive information confidentially,



exercise sound judgement, follow procedures accurately and assist with more complex applications and enquiries. You will also contribute to a collaborative team environment by providing guidance and on-the-job support to other administrative staff.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, robust organisational abilities and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Experience in administration, records management, financial processing or regulatory environments will be highly regarded.
