The role
We are expanding our Cybersecuirty practice in Canberra and seeking experienced Senior Security Consultants with strong experience in Governance,
Risk and Compliance. This is your chance to work with a team that’s committed to helping clients navigate complex security challenges and build resilient, secure environments.
Key responsibilities incldue:
- Forge strong relationships within Brennan and with our customers.
- Lead customer workshops to capture business and cybersecurity requirements that are used to deliver maturity assessments, roadmaps and strategies.
- Communicate technical and non-technical solutions and their business benefits to diverse stakeholders.
- Implement and audit security and risk standards.
- Carry out vulnerability assessments of network infrastructure and applications
Key competencies and experience required to be successful in the role
- Experience in a consultancy or service delivery setting
- Proven experience in developing and delivering effective presentations
- Ability to use security frameworks and methodologies including OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) and OSSTMM (Open-Source Security Testing Methodology Manual)
- Extensive knowledge of hardware, software, LAN/WAN, backup and information security
- Expert knowledge of security areas including gateway protection, end-point protection, backup/storage, Data Loss Protection, Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management
