About the Role:
Worthy Ability is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Key Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life through person-centred and strengths-based care.

You will work closely with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality services are delivered in alignment with the NDIS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow therapy programs designed and supervised by qualified clinicians in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Behaviour Support.
- Provide direct client support through structured activities, practice tasks, and goal-based intervention programs.
- Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and accurate documentation for each session.
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant case notes in line with organisational and NDIS requirements.
- Prepare therapy materials, visual supports, resources, and activity setups before sessions.
- Communicate client performance, engagement, behaviours, and concerns directly to supervising therapists.
- Work strictly within scope of practice and seek guidance or clarification whenever needed.
- Ensure client safety, dignity, wellbeing, and privacy in all sessions and interactions.
- Support daily operations including appointment scheduling, session preparation, and post-session clean-up.
- Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, competency checks, and professional development.
- Provide culturally safe, person-centred, and family-focused support across all interactions.
- Support children with early communication skills including requesting, labelling, turn-taking, and answering simple questions.
- Use structured play to facilitate language development, communication engagement,

and social skills.
- Collect and record speech data such as articulation accuracy, phonological responses, expressive/receptive language targets, and WH-question accuracy.
- Identify and report red flags, developmental concerns, or changes in client behaviour to the speech pathologist.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans under the direction of a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Collect ABC (Antecedent–Behaviour–Consequence) data, frequency counts, and other behavioural tracking as required.
- Use reinforcement strategies (praise, token boards, reward charts) to support positive behaviour.
- Support functional communication training (choices, requesting help, break cards, visuals).
- Adhere to NDIS Code of Conduct, organisational policies, and all legal and privacy obligations.
- Maintain qualified and respectful communication with families, clients, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Assist clinicians with resource development, printing, file organisation, and general administrative support.
