We are working with a leading player in the Superannuation sector as they look to appoint a Risk Manager to the Melbourne head office team. Reporting to the General Manager of Risk & Compliance, you support the Head of Risk with the implementation and maintenance of a robust Risk Management Framework with appropriate processes, controls and systems that comply with external regulatory obligations and meets community expectations and industry standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering risk management framework
- Risk monitoring, oversight and testing
- Maintaining key risk documents as identified by the General Manager Risk and Compliance
- Risk identification, evaluation and treatment
- Supporting the preparation of all reports for the Risk and Members Best Interest Committee (RMBIC), and the Trustee Board
- Management of all risk registers
- Supporting the delivery of the internal & external audit processes
- Provide SME risk advice and support to the first line to successfully deliver a compliant Risk Management Framework and support a positive risk culture
- Responsible for development and implementation of all risk training for employees
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualification and/or significant experience in Risk Management
- Experience in a risk management role in with a superannuation fund.
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills
This role is based in Central Melbourne and requires 4 days on-site, with a mature approach to flexibility on hours and work from home.
