Position Overview:

Sydney Princess Cruises is seeking an Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations, coordinate office resources, support business functions, and ensure efficient delivery of cruise and hospitality services. The role is responsible for managing administrative processes, staff coordination, record keeping, compliance requirements, and providing operational support to enhance overall business efficiency and service standards.

The position requires strong office administration, scheduling and reporting, document management, staff supervision, customer communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a collaborative and self-motivated approach.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Office Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Oversee the daily administrative operations of Sydney Princess Cruises, ensuring office functions effectively support cruise scheduling, customer service activities, and business requirements.
- Assist management with reviewing administrative processes, implementing improved procedures, and establishing effective systems to enhance operational efficiency.




- Coordinate staffing requirements and distribute administrative responsibilities among team members to ensure workloads are managed effectively and operational needs are met.
- Supervise administrative staff by monitoring workflow, providing guidance, and supporting the achievement of workplace performance expectations.
- Maintain and oversee business documentation, including operational records, financial files, supplier information, customer-related documents, and internal administrative records.
- Act as a key point of contact between management, cruise operations teams, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support communication and resolve administrative issues.
- Manage the availability and upkeep of office facilities, equipment, software systems, and supplies required for the smooth operation of administrative functions.
- Support the implementation of workplace safety practices and ensure administrative activities are conducted in accordance with relevant workplace requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate employee-related administration, including recruitment assistance, onboarding arrangements, staff training coordination, performance documentation, and payroll support.
- Provide administrative reports and recommendations to management while identifying opportunities to improve office procedures, resource utilisation, and overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications Required for this role:

- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.

Experience and Other Requirements:

- At least 1 year of experience in a similar field.
- Demonstrated experience in office administration, scheduling and reporting, document handling, and records management.
- Proven staff management and supervision capabilities.
- Ability to coordinate resources and manage competing priorities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Salary - $79,000 - $85,000 plus super

Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
