This is a newly created position within a division of a large infrastructure corporate. The reporting function is well established and highly regarded, currently managed by the Finance Director. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced FP&A; skilled to take full ownership, drive continuous improvement, and build the capability of the team around them.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting and insights that support executive, board and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning the delivery of monthly and quarterly management reporting packs for group submission.
Managing and developing a team of two analysts, including coaching and performance management
Leading reporting process improvements and system enhancements across the function
Managing divisional reporting, capital expenditure forecasting and cash flow analysis
Providing board-level variance analysis and commercial insights
Building strong relationships with project, commercial and finance stakeholders across the business
Challenging assumptions and evolving reporting frameworks to support strategic investment and capital allocation decisions
Establishing governance, controls and reporting processes that support future growth and scalability
Acting as the key internal stakeholder for reporting excellence across the division
About You Must-Haves
CA/CPA Qualified with a proven track record experience in FP&A; delivering management,
executive or board reporting
Strong background within infrastructure, project-based or capital-intensive environments
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams
Advanced Excel modelling and reporting capability
Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting and visualisation tools
Strong commercial acumen across P&L; management, forecasting and capital project finance
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves
Infrastructure, energy, property/construction or utilities sector experience
Exposure to Oracle or other enterprise finance systems
Project accounting or capital project delivery experience
Previous board or governance reporting exposure
